In fact, that run alone was good enough to give Belton a season high; his previous season high in a game was 76 yards against Massachusetts. Outside of that touchdown run, Belton had 45 yards on 15 carries. Belton and the entire Penn State rushing attack has been awful this season so Belton's big game against Indiana is more of an aberration than anything else. Even with match ups against soft run defenses in the next two weeks with Penn State playing Temple and Illinois, Belton still isn't worth picking up.

Belton is a more explosive back than last year's leading rusher, Zach Zwinak, as well as a much better receiver out of the backfield. But Belton failed to live up to high expectations last year, largely floundering as a starter before Zwinak's emergence. Belton will battle alongside Zwinak for the top running back spot on the depth chart, but will get his some carries regardless as a change-of-pace back.
