Jones was the backup to Rodney Stewart as a freshman but will take over the starting role in his sophomore season. With Stewart as the starter, Jones had 78 carries, but only averaged a mere 3.8 yards per carry, below where the Buffaloes would like him to be. Stewart received 189 carries as last season's starter so similar playing time and production from Jones would seem reasonable in 2012. Jones' role makes him a must-draft in Pac-12-only leagues, even if his efficiency fails to impress.
