December 2, 2014
Davis pulled in a single reception totaling three yards and a touchdown Saturday as UNLV fell to Nevada 49-27 at home.
ANALYSIS
Though Davis' final game as a member of UNLV's football program ended much less memorably than hoped, the Galena Park native still departs one of the best receivers in school history, with a career 186 receptions totaling 2,785 yards and 22 scores. Look for rising sophomores Devonte Boyd and Kendal Keys to be tabbed the Rebels' primary playmakers at wideout heading into next season.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2014
2013
2012
The 6-3, 210-pound Davis followed his 854-yard, four-TD sophomore campaign with 87 receptions, 1,290 yards (14.8 YPC) and 14 touchdowns last season. An elite receiver, Davis might be the nation's best had he not lost QB Caleb Herring to graduation. UNLV does not appear to have a comparable replacement this season for Herring (24 TD, five INT in 2013), but Davis is talented enough to dominate even with below-average quarterback play, especially against a Mountain West schedule.
As a sophomore last season, Davis led the Rebels in receptions (61) and receiving yards (854) while tying for the team lead in receiving touchdowns (four). This all came after he recorded just four catches his freshman year. Davis’ breakout performance came on Oct. 6 against Louisiana Tech, when he hauled in eight passes for 186 yards and a score. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound wideout caught fewer than four balls only twice last season, and Davis should remain returning quarterback Nick Sherry’s favorite target in 2013, though it’s possible the team attempts fewer than the 35.4 passes per game they did last season.
The UNLV passing game might have been the most miserable one in recent memory last year, and is far off the fantasy radar as a result. He caught four passes for 42 yards last year.
