Takes to air in finale

Lagow completed 30 of a whopping 60 attempts for 373 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Saturday's season finale against Purdue.
ANALYSIS
The Hoosiers lost starting running back Morgan Ellison (undisclosed) during the contest, leading to a full-on aerial assault. Lagow had a solid showing in his final effort, throwing for his second-highest total of the season. The senior completes his final collegiate campaign with 1,936 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He split part of the season with freshman Peyton Ramsey, who will likely take over under center for the Hoosiers in 2018.

Big Ten Spring Preview: Quarterbacks
March 11, 2018
Chris Benzine analyzes the quarterback situations across the Big Ten. Ohio State is tasked with replacing a legend in J.T. Barrett. Is Dwayne Haskins ready to take up his mantle and lead the Buckeyes back to the Big Ten Championship?
2017 Fantasy Outlook
Lagow transferred from junior college prior to 2016 and secured the starter duties vacated by Nate Sudfeld. Indiana's pass-heavy attack resulted in the junior signal-caller attempting the 15th-most passes (438) in college football last season. Unfortunately, he only completed 57.8 percent of those passes -- second-worst among the top 15 in attempts -- and finished with a 19:17 TD:INT ratio along with 3,362 passing yards. The year of starting experience should benefit Lagow, but losing two of his top three pass-catchers (Ricky Jones and Mitchell Paige) from last season forces him to develop chemistry with some new targets for 2017. He will also play under new offensive coordinator Mike DeBord during his senior campaign, who focused on the running game in the same position with Tennessee last season. However, Indiana has more questions at running back than it does at receiver, where it has a pair of promising wideouts in Simmie Cobbs (6-4, 220) and Nick Westbrook (6-3, 209) that can help bail out Lagow when he's inaccurate.
