Even with Connor Hamlett ahead of him in the Oregon State tight end rotation, Smith heads into 2014 as one of the nation's most noteworthy fantasy tight ends. He caught 25 passes for 343 yards and four touchdowns as a sophomore last year, and he should see his opportunities multiply this year now that Brandin Cooks (128 catches in 2013) is in the NFL. Smith (6-foot-6, 260 pounds) has a big frame ideal for red-zone impact, and he should turn into a clearly elite fantasy tight end if Hamlett were to miss any time. It's worth noting that Hamlett missed two games and played hobbled in two others due to knee issues.
