Kurtz (foot) "is going to be fine" for Saturday's game against Arizona, head coach Kalani Sitake told The Salt Lake Tribune.
ANALYSIS
The senior wideout broke his foot in an offseason workout in June, but he has worked his way back and turned in a "great practice" earlier in the week, which bolstered his chances of taking the field in the opener. Barring an unexpected change in the weekend, Kurtz should be ready to play against Arizona. Kurtz is BYU's best returning receiver following the departures of Mitch Mathews and Devon Blackmon.
