Tate, listed as a second-team tight end for the Razorbacks following spring camp, will miss the next six to eight weeks after suffering a broken arm this past week, the Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Tate had 14 catches for 164 yards last season and was expected to play a role in replicating the production of the now graduated Chris Gragg. A senior, Tate is expected to return this season, but will likely take a back seat to sophomore Mitchell Loewen.

2013 Fantasy Outlook
Tate is primed to replace Chris Gragg as the Razorbacks’ starting tight end after registering just 21 catches for 164 yards in his first three seasons. At 6-foot-6, 253 pounds he clearly has the requisite size, but a career average of just 7.8 yards per reception – albeit in a limited sample size – creates questions about Tate’s explosiveness.
