Miller (leg) will undergo surgery Monday to repair a ligament in his ankle and is expected to miss the rest of the season, the Idaho Statesman's Chadd Cripe reports.
ANALYSIS
Miller, who has not played since Sept. 27 against Air Force, has been bothered by the ankle for most of the season, and the decision to undergo surgery will sideline him for the rest of the year, ending his standout career at Boise State. The senior ranks second all-time in career receiving yards, trailing Titus Young by only 15 yards.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2014
2013
2012
Miller might be the nation's most accomplished receiver, boasting 216 career receptions for 2,588 yards and 26 touchdowns in 39 games. He's coming off a 1,140-yard, 12-touchdown season where he totaled 41 receptions, 636 yards and 10 scores in the final five games. He should be even more productive this season and, at 6-3, 220, is one of the nation's top red-zone threats.
Miller led the team in receiving last season, hauling in 66 passes for 769 yards and five touchdowns. At 6-foot-3 he has great size for the position and oftentimes has a significant height advantage over Mountain West cornerbacks. Given another year of seasoning with quarterback Joe Southwick, Miller will likely have another big season in 2013.
If Kellen Moore hadn’t graduated, Miller would be ranked much higher after catching 62 passes and scoring nine touchdowns as a redshirt freshman last year. Miller was the team's best possession target right away, as those 62 receptions tied with Tyler Shoemaker for the team lead. Shoemaker was graduated, however, so Miller should exceed last year's numbers regardless of the quarterback.
