Shontrelle Johnson

Johnson's availability for 2012 was up in the air due to a neck issue, but in July his return to the team was confirmed. He was the team's best runner a year ago, but his fantasy value is low due to the presences of James White and Jeff Woody.

While he doesn't have the competition wrapped up yet, Johnson is believed to have the lead in the race to replace Alexander Robinson for Iowa State. He only received 35 carries last year, but he took those carries for 218 yards (6.2 yards per carry) and two scores. In any case, the Iowa State offense figures to have a rough go of it this year, so Johnson's upside is probably limited.
