Andrew Hendrix

Hendrix showed good running ability in 2011, but he doesn't show much promise as a passer and looks like a long shot to hold onto the Notre Dame starting quarterback role all year if he wins it heading into the fall. Tommy Rees appears out of the picture and Gunner Kiel is unproven, but the explosive Everett Golson can probably outmatch Hendrix as both a runner and passer. Hendrix's rushing skills would, in any case, make him an intriguing fantasy option if he does start for the Irish.
