ANALYSIS
Anthrop struggled to get into a rhythm earlier in the season as he experienced nagging soreness in his surgically repaired knee, but he was able to put together a solid game Saturday in what will be his last game as a Boilermaker. He didn't show the same deep threat capability this season that he had in years passed when he averaged 18.4 and 16.2 yards per reception as his 2015 average dipped to just 7.5 YPR. Still, Anthrop played in every game this season despite the lingering knee issues and led the team with a career-high 57 receptions.

2015 Fantasy Outlook
Anthrop led the Boilermakers in receiving by 323 yards last season despite missing the last three games with a torn ACL. That stat is indicative of both Anthrop’s own skills as well as Purdue’s dearth of receiving options. The ACL injury will certainly be something to monitor leading up to the season opener, but he was cleared for football activities in June, so it shouldn’t be an overwhelming concern. Purdue’s quarterback play is arguably a bigger reason for concern than his ACL recovery, but if Anthrop comes back at full speed he should be able to have another solid season as the Boilermakers’ top receiving target. If Anthrop can match last season’s reception rate (4.47 RPG) over a full season, he should flirt with 50 receptions and could perhaps even push for a 1,000-yard season.
