Five catches, 72 yards in road upset
November 21, 2016
Mundt collected five receptions totaling 72 yards Saturday as Oregon upset Utah 30-28 on the road in Salt Lake City.
ANALYSIS
Mundt not only matched a season-high five receptions in Saturday's contest, but too tallied his best overall receiving yardage total since September of his freshman campaign in the victory. The senior enters Week 13 having now combined for 21 catches, 323 yards and four touchdowns in 2016 and currently trailing only teammate Pharoah Brown and UCLA's Nate Iese as the most productive tight end in the Pac-12 this year. Should off-field issues prevent Brown from playing in Oregon's annual matchup against in-state rival, Oregon State, fantasy owners can expect to see Mundt putting up strong numbers for a third consecutive week on Nov. 26.

2014 Fantasy Outlook
Mundt needs to hold off fellow tight ends like Evan Baylis and Pharaoh Brown for targets in the Oregon offense, but there's definite breakout potential for the sophomore after a promising 2013 debut. Oregon will need Mundt to build on his 16-catch season from last year, one in which he finished with 347 yards (17.6 YPC) and three touchdowns, particularly since the Ducks are now without leading 2013 receivers Josh Huff (NFL) and Bralon Addison (ACL tear).
