Cooper has elected to transfer from Memphis, Tom Schad of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
ANALYSIS
Cooper saw a slight increase in usage during his sophomore season, notching 389 yards and five touchdowns on 91 attempts, which effectively gave him a 4.3 yards per carry average. However, Cooper remains stuck in a battle for playing time with the likes of Doroland Dorceus and Sam Craft, so he'll transfer from Memphis and look for another opportunity elsewhere to be a feature back. Cooper has yet to decide on a school, but once he does, he'll have to sit out a year due to the NCAA's transfer rules.
