Sean Maguire

Maguire heads into August looking to prove his health before fully entering a potential three or four man quarterback derby in Tallahassee. Maguire overtook Everett Golson a year ago, but suffered a broken ankle in the team's bowl game against Houston. While he should be ready to go for Week 1, Maguire will need to fend off redshirt freshman Deondre Francois in order to start. A healthy Maguire topped 300 yards twice in six starts, but was held under 165 yards in three other contests. He has the lowest ceiling of the 'Noles options, but with the plethora of talent around him, the floor isn't awful either. But unless he's named the starter early in camp, Maguire isn't likely to be worth even the minimal cost associated with selecting him.
