January 2, 2016
Cook has been working as the quarterback in first-team warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Arkansas, Kellis Robinett of the Kansas City Star reports.
ANALYSIS
Robinett's report comes as a bit of a surprise given that usual starter Joe Hubener is believed to be healthy for Saturday's game; however, Cook has some experience at quarterback this season and has been splitting practice reps with Hubener of late. It still seems as though coach Bill Snyder could wait until kickoff to name his starter, but it's certainly in the realm of possibility that Cook sees some snaps at quarterback against Arkansas.
