November 27, 2016
Morgan registered six receptions for 54 yards at Mizzou on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Morgan caught six passes in back-to-back games to end the regular season for the Hogs. With three catches in the bowl game, Morgan will set a career high. Unfortunately, he otherwise had a down season, averaging a career-worst 10.9 yards per grab. He also managed just three touchdowns in 2016 after scoring 10 times just a season ago.

2016 Fantasy Outlook
Morgan is back for his senior season in Fayetteville after a breakout 2015 campaign in which he hauled in 63 of his 80 targets for 843 yards and 10 touchdowns. He finished in the Top 10 in the SEC in nearly every major receiving category and his 10 touchdowns placed him tied for second in the conference. It’s worth noting that he had some things working in his favor, such as having one of the best quarterbacks in the conference at the helm of the offense as well as injuries to other receivers that allowed Morgan to ascend the depth chart. Regardless, he took advantage of those opportunities and although quarterback Brandon Allen is now in the NFL, Morgan should be the top receiver in one of the better passing offenses in the conference. Although Morgan should pace the team in terms of production, there might not be much of a gap between his numbers and some of his counterparts. Jared Cornelius, Dominique Reed, and LaMichael Pettway round out a stacked receiving corps and Jeremy Sprinkle should be in line to absorb all of Hunter Henry’s targets. Morgan has the tools and the track record to be the No.1 in this offense, but Arkansas is so deep at receiver and balanced from a philosophical perspective that it’s difficult to imagine having a truly dominant 2016 season.
