Jonsen will transfer from Oregon, Aaron Fentress of CSN Northwest reports.
ANALYSIS
Jonsen likely felt he was on track to be a reserve at quarterback once again and will make the move to the junior college ranks at Riverside City College in order to get his career back on track. Jonsen is expected to transfer back to the FBS in 2018 , where he will be immediately eligible to play out his final year of eligibility. With Justin Herbert expected to be Oregon's starting quarterback, true freshman Braxton Burmeister is in line to serve as the team's backup.
