The rising sophomore was dismissed for a "violation of team rules" according to coach Chris Ash. Oden, a dual-threat quarterback, was used primarily as a runner last season with 37 carries for 144 yards while attempting just eight passes. Giovanni Rescigno, Zach Allen, and Johnathan Lewis will all vie for the starting quarterback role now that Oden is gone from the team.
