Tops 30 total yards vs. SDSU
December 21, 2019
Ward had nine carries for 26 yards and one catch for seven yards in the New Mexico Bowl against San Diego State on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Central Michigan got little going offensively, but Ward still had a strong senior season with over 1,100 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns while averaging over 9.5 yards per catch. NFL teams will surely give him a look heading toward April's draft.

DraftKings College Football: Championship Weekend
December 6, 2019
LSU's Ja'Marr Chase is the most expensive receiver on the board by a wide margin for Saturday's slate. Will he do enough against a tough Georgia defense to pay off on DraftKings? John McKechnie breaks it down.
Past Fantasy Outlooks
2019
2018
After topping 1,000 yards with 10 touchdowns in 2017 and catching 48 passes, Ward missed a few games due to injury last year and fell to the background in the Chippewas' backfield mix (76 carries for 212 yards and one touchdown, eight catches for 41 yards). Romello Ross and Kumehnnu Gwilly remain in the mix this year, in what looks to be a three-man committee to frustrate fantasy owners looking for a deep sleeper.
Ward's phenomenal end to the season, highlighted by 71 carries for 528 yards and five scores in four November games, gives a glimpse at what he can do as the featured back. He also has very little competition for carries; no other CMU back had more than 54 rushes last year and neither of the other 50-plus-carry rushers averaged 4.0 YPC. Ward has speed unlike most other MAC backs with an array of moves to make defenders look foolish, and he'll be running behind an experienced line. His combination of skill and team context makes him a worthwhile target.
