November 3, 2012
Nunes was replaced by backup Kevin Hogan after two series Saturday in a 48-0 win over the Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder, finishing the day just 3-of-5 passing for 23 yards on the day.
ANALYSIS
Hogan played remarkably well against Colorado, hitting 18-of-23 passing for 184 yards and two touchdowns, and gives rise to the notion Nunes has likely seen his last game as a starting quarterback for the Cardinal in 2012. Expect that Hogan gets the chance to run the Stanford offense next week against Oregon State.
