Past Fantasy Outlooks
2011
2010
With the transfer of Eric Williams, Sykes could be in for a surprisingly productive 2011 season. David Brown is a threat to take some carries, but Sykes still has the look of Ball State's top runner. He's been productive throughout his career, though his workload has never been big. He's valuable in MAC-only leagues, and might be worth a late pick in other leagues, too.
Sykes was better than starter MiQuale Lewis last year, running for 559 yards and three touchdowns on 90 carries. His best moment was the game against Eastern Michigan, when he ran for 203 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries. He's worth a depth pick in MAC-only leagues, but MiQuale Lewis will make his workload sporadic.
