Nick Fanuzzi

Although Fanuzzi completed 60 percent of his passes and threw more touchdowns in 2009, his sophomore year was a bit rough. He averaged under six yards per attempt, and that will have to change in 2010 if he plans on keeping his starting job away from Miami transfer Taylor Cook. Of course, Fanuzzi has the better bragging rights as far as transfer origins go, because he came to Rice from Alabama. In any case, Fanuzzi should be much better in 2010, but beware of the also talented Cook stealing some playing time if Fanuzzi struggles at all. Fanuzzi has a lot of upside and could be a good value in CUSA-only leagues given how risky of a pick he is. He's worth keeping an eye on in all other formats.
