While Julio Jones brought home SEC Freshmen of the Year honors on the offensive side of the ball for Alabama, Hightower was doing the same for his role on the defensive side of the ball. Teammates are saying the sophomore will be even more vital this year, this according to the Dothan Eagle, particularly given the "strength, speed and maturity" he's shown in the off-season.
