FantasyAces College Football: Week 13 Picks

This article is part of our FantasyAces College Football series.

Thanks to RotoWire colleague James Smizek for filling in last week while I gave money away to various Las Vegas casinos. I'm back on the DFS wagon in week 13, so here are some of my favorite plays this Saturday on Fantasy Aces.

QUARTERBACK

Dak Prescott, Mississippi State (vs. Ole Miss) - $6,400

Surprisingly, 13 weeks in and I haven't rostered Prescott yet this season. This week I can't pass him up, even though he's the most costly quarterback on the slate. Prescott's resume speaks for itself, but I love that he's at home against the 102nd-ranked pass defense in a game that could become a shootout.

Jared Goff, Cal (vs. Arizona State) - $5,800

Goff is coming off a good-not-great performance at Stanford. His numbers would have looked a whole lot better if not for a couple near misses that ended drives with three points instead of seven. Goff is always capable of putting up 400 yards and five touchdowns, and while he may not reach those benchmarks, I expect a big night against Arizona State in what might be Goff's final home game. Only five teams allow more passing yards than the Sun Devils per game.

Mike Bercovici, Arizona State (at Cal) - $5,350

If this contest goes as I think it will, Bercovici will need to sling it to keep pace with Goff and the Golden Bears. Cal's defense is not the most stout, so there is a strong chance this game goes over the 68.5 Vegas point total. Bercovici is coming off a 315-yard performance with a pair of touchdowns and another score on the ground. He's capable of putting up better numbers in the regular-season finale.

Others to consider: Deshaun Watson, Nate Sudfeld

RUNNING BACK

Leonard Fournette, LSU (vs. Texas A&M) - $6,000

I have a feeling Fournette will remind everybody he's the best player in college football Saturday against Texas A&M. The sophomore has had a tough run of matchups the last three weeks, even though he still managed 20-plus fantasy points two games in a row. The Aggies rank 104th in the country against the run, providing Fournette the opportunity to put his name back atop the Heisman conversation.

Sony Michel, Georgia (at Georgia Tech) - $4,900

If you're rostering pricey quarterbacks and a stud back like Fournette, some bargains will need to find their way onto your roster. Michel fits that bill at less than $5k for a guy who has rushed for more than 130 yards in two of the last three games.

Joe Williams, Utah (vs. Colorado) - $4,100

Unfortunately, it looks like Devontae Booker will miss the rest of the year with a knee injury. Williams stepped in against UCLA and proved he has the juice to be a solid lead back with a 121-yard performance. The price hasn't caught up to the new depth chart in Utah, so Williams becomes a raging bargain at home versus an overmatched Colorado team.

Devine Redding, Indiana (at Purdue) - $4,300

Another injury recplacement and another value play. Redding had a huge game filling in for the injured Jordan Howard. You will need to keep tabs on Howard's knee, though, but it doesn't look like he'll play Saturday. The fact that Purdue, one of the nation's worst rushing defenses, is next on the schedule just adds to Redding's value.

Others to consider: Dalvin Cook, Wendell Smallwood

WIDE RECEIVER

Juju Smith-Schuster, USC (vs. UCLA) - $5,300

Smith-Schuster has been banged up lately, but looks good to go Saturday at home against UCLA. As one of the best receivers in college football, the sophomore's cheap price is robbery. For that reason, he will likely be a frequent play across the FantasyAces universe. You may want to match him with some higher-volitlilty players.

Fred Ross, Mississippi State (vs. Ole Miss) - $5,100

I feel really good about a Ross-Prescott stack this week. Ross has rattled off three consecutive 100-yard receiving games with 29 catches and three scores. He is Prescott's security blanket, with double-digit targets in all but two games.

James Washington, Oklahoma State (vs. Oklahoma) - $4,650

Washington has had a monster second half to his 2015 season, so I'm surprised to see him priced this low in a game with one of the highest point totals on the Saturday slate (68). Sure, he's been under the century mark two games in a row, but he found the end zone on two of his five catches last week versus Baylor.

Others to consider: Jordan Payton, Rashard Higgins

TIGHT END

Brandon Lingen, Minnesota (vs. Wisconsin) - $3,550

Lingen has quietly become one of the leading tight ends in college football. That might not be saying much with all the spread attacks across the country, but the 6-foot-5 sophomore has come on strong late in the season for the Gophers. He has two 100-yard games in the last three weeks, averaging five catches in those contests.

Others to consider: Jaylen Samuels, Jake McGee
