Henry did not play on defense Sunday against Green Bay, according to the Detroit Free Press.
ANALYSIS
Henry could be moved to safety soon, something the Lions had discussed this summer, but it doesn't seem like he figures largely into the Lions' plans on defense.

Henry is expected to start at corner to open the season, but there has been some talk of moving him out of the position and converting him to a safety. Either way, his IDP potential is limited.
A high ankle sprain marred Henry's 2007 season, limiting him to 13 games (10 starts). He still managed six interceptions, his highest total in six seasons. Four of those came before the Week 4 injury. Henry could have been on his way to a huge season like the one he had as a rookie in 2001 (10 interceptions). Injuries and age (32 in November) make him a somewhat risky play in 2008. Henry made 76 tackles in 2004 and 81 in 2006 because he stayed healthy, but he was limited to 10 starts in 2005 (48 tackles) and 10 in 2007 (36 tackles). It's hard to expect a best-case scenario from Henry in 2008, though he has the potential to be a top- 10 player at his position if healthy.
Recorded a whopping (for a CB) 81 tackles in 2006 to go along with two INTs, and should remain a productive IDP player as teams continue to avoid Terence Newman's side of the field.
For the third straight season Henry failed to play 16 games, but when he was on the field he was a rock-solid complement to Terence Newman at CB.
Starting CB opposite Terence Newman, he's a decent bet in deep IDP leagues as he's both a ballhawk (four INTs last year, and 10 in 2001) and a solid tackler for a corner (67 in 2005.)
Henry emerged as the starting left cornerback in 2003, playing in 14 games until a nagging knee injury kept him out of the final two contests. Henry has 13 interceptions in his three seasons, including 10 in his rookie season of 2001.
