ANALYSIS
Parker was signed just three days ago, so he must have really been a poor fit in Seattle to have his job terminated this quickly. The next contestant trying to win a role in the decimated receiving corps will be Michael Bumpus, an undrafted rookie plucked off the practice squad. Parker has already been with four teams this calendar year (Kansas City, Denver, Carolina and Seattle) and none have found him worthy of a roster spot.

Parker was brought in to provide depth at the wide receiver position, but does not factor to get many balls thrown his way.
Parkers speed and potential tempts fantasy owners with visions of long touchdown strikes, but a look at his production in two seasons as a starter paints a different picture. He scored just once in 2006 and was too inconsistent to use as a fantasy option, despite recording a career-best 41 grabs for 561 yards. This season doesnt figure to be much different, with Dwayne Bowe likely stealing Parkers starting job and uncertainty at quarterback making any Chiefs receiver a risky proposition.
Despite missing time with a sprained knee last season, Parker performed well in his second year with the Chiefs, catching 62 percent of his targets and averaging 14.8 yards per catch, good for 9.2 yards per target. At 5-11, 190, Parker is not a big target, but he makes up for it with his speed and elusiveness – he recorded three catches of 40-yards or more on just 58 targets. Parker heads into the year as the Chiefs’ No. 2 receiver, but No. 1 target Eddie Kennison has never been a star, and he’s at the age where Parker could overtake him.
Parker enters the season as the favorite for the Chiefs' No. 2 receiver spot. Though injury cost him all but four games during his rookie year in 2004, the former Duck impressed coaches enough in that time to earn starting consideration. At 5-11, Parker is not a big target, but he makes up for it with his speed and elusiveness. In the Chiefs' pass-happy offense, he could see a number of passes thrown his way, not to mention that he has the talent to develop into a formidable deep threat. Keep a close eye on Parker on draft day; he's a fantasy sleeper who's definitely worth a late-round pick.
Speed merchant who joined the Chiefs as a fourth-round pick (105th overall) in the 2004 NFL Draft. A three-time All-America selection in track, Parker combines top-notch speed with excellent route-running and pass-catching skills. He's probably got too much competition to make much of a fantasy impact in 2004.
