Peters (foot) is inactive Sunday against the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Peters never practiced this week and was considered unlikely to play, so this news doesn't come as much of a surprise. Stone Forsythe will likely draw the start at right tackle.

Peters’ performance tailed off towards the end of 2014, but he’s still widely regarded as the premier left tackle in the NFL. He’ll start there for his seventh straight season in Philadelphia.
Peters is likely one of the league's best linemen. He'll continue to hold down the left tackle spot in Philadelphia.
Even though he's returning from a torn Achilles' tendon, Peters is expected to start and hold his own at left tackle for 2013. The Eagles selected tackle Lane Johnson fourth overall to play on the right side of the line rather than to replace Peters on the left.
Peters will miss the 2012 season due to an Achilles' tendon rupture.
Starting left tackle.
Peters will start at left tackle.
Peters surrendered 11.5 sacks over just 13 games last season in Buffalo, but he has the physical tools to be a dominant left tackle. Now happy in Philadelphia, he is an important piece to the Eagles' 2009 season.
Undrafted out of Arkansas, Peters has quickly developed into one of the league’s best left tackles. With that status comes the desire to be paid like a premier bookend tackle, and Peters skipped Buffalo’s offseason minicamps in part to voice his displeasure over his current contract. Unless an ugly holdout ensues, however, expect him to be the starting tackle Week 1.
Peters will start at left tackle for the Bills this season, and with free-agent acquisition Derrick Dockery, will form one of the more reliable left sides in the league. Peters is one of the better up and coming LTs in the league.
One of the Bills' best hidden gems, the superfreak athlete has found a home at offensive tackle and should be a mainstay there for years. Unfortunately, his tight end/fantasy potential days are over.
Special teams madman with freak athletic ability, but he's not a starter on either line of scrimmage.
Peters was supposed to be a mid-round draft pick in the April 2004 Draft but slipped because some scouts questioned his attitude. He's an athletic freak of nature as a 340-pound tight end/H-back who can run a 4.78 40, but he lacks polish and was cut by the Bills in August and signed to the practice squad shortly thereafter. Put Peters' name in the "down the road vault" as a potential deep sleeper if anyone ever gives him a serious look.
Peters was supposed to be a mid-round draft pick in the April 2004 Draft but slipped because some scouts questioned his attitude, so the Bills may have gotten a steal from the undrafted free-agent pool. He's an athletic freak of nature as a 340-pound tight end/H-back who can run a 4.78 40. He's currently fourth on the depth chart and still a long shot at fantasy value, but put Peters' name in the "down the road vault" as a potential deep sleeper. He's making some noise early and may make the Bills roster.
