Should be the starting Right Cornerback for the Dolphins, but will face competition from Sean Smith and first round pick Vontae Davis in training camp.
Green will engage in a three-way training camp battle for two starting spots. He is a mediocre IDP option, with one interception in 37 career NFL games. On the plus side, Green averaged almost five tackles per game last season.
Green and Roderick Hood will battle for a starting cornerback position during training camp, with the loser expected to serve as Arizona's nickelback. Green started eight games in 2006 but was unable to solidify his role because of frequent missed assignments. There's a good chance that Arizona will employ a revolving door at cornerback again this season.
Scheduled to backup Antrel Rolle at corner. Rolle has had two surgeries in the past year, so Green has the potential to see some time on the field. Last year, when Rolle only played in five games, Green made 36 solo tackles, deflected four passes and made an interception. He probably will only see enough playing time to be a fantasy factor if Rolle or David Macklin, Arizona's other starting corner, are sidelined for an extended period of time.
Green is a rookie cornerback who will compete for the nickel spot. Should there be any injuries, he could step into a starting cornerback role.
