Gradkowski was re-signed to compete with Landry Jones for the back-up role this season. Even if he wins a spot on the 53-man roster out of training camp, Gradkowski would be a wasted draft pick in any fantasy format. He missed the entire 2015 season with finger and shoulder injuries, and has not attempted a pass in an NFL game since 2012.
A perennial back-up, Gradkowski will once again serve as insurance in the event Ben Roethlisberger succumbs to injury, although it should be noted that he has not attempted a pass in an NFL game since 2012.
Gradkowski will again serve as backup to Ben Roethlisberger, limiting his fantasy value.
Gradkowski will serve as back up to Ben Roethlisberger. A solid number two quarterback for any NFL team, his fantasy is value is limited unless Big Ben, who is no stranger to injuries, misses extended time.
Gradkowski will continue to back up Andy Dalton, so he won't have much fantasy value this season, although he is a solid number two quarterback for any NFL team.
Gradkowski has started eight games for the Raiders over the last two years, but his inability to stay healthy made him look for a new team for the 2011 season. The Cincinnati Bengals are that team, as Gradkowski agreed to a two-year contract to compete with Andy Dalton for the starting job. Gradkowski's fantasy value will be minimal as a reserve, although even the starting job in Cincinnati will likely not yield much fantasy value.
Gradkowski will enter the season as the Raiders' backup quarterback. The two-year contract the Raiders handed Jason Campbell is a sign that they are committed to him for at least the 2010 season. With that in mind, Gradkowski will only see action if Campbell suffers an injury.
Gradkowski will battle for the third quarterback position on the Raiders' roster.
Expected to end up the club's No. 3 QB behind starter Marc Bulger and back-up Trent Green although he will be pushed by Brock Berlin.
When Chris Simms went down last season, Jon Gruden had to hand over the Bucs' offense to the rookie Gradkowski, who had enjoyed a fine preseason. However, the Bucs quickly found that good performances in the second half of games in August don’t necessarily translate to wins in the fall. Gradkowski started 11 games and finished with a NFC-worst passer rating of 65.9; he generated just 5.1 YPA, nearly a full yard worse than any other QB in the league (including Joey Harrington and Andrew Walter). Gradkowski will not start 11 games at quarterback again in 2007, although he still has potential down the road. He should never have had to play as much as a rookie as he did in 2006. Going into camp, he's number two on the depth chart behind Jeff Garcia.
The rookie from Toledo is competing for the third quarterback role in camp, and could claim a roster berth.
