Knee
July 25, 2012
Peprah (knee) was released by the Packers on Wednesday, Jason Wilde of ESPNMilwaukee.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Peprah was released after starting 25 games for the Packers the past two years. Coach Mike McCarthy hinted earlier Wednesday that Peprah, who had arthroscopic knee surgery in the offseason, may not be ready for the start of training camp, so that may have factored into the decision to release him. The 29-year-old recorded 94 tackles (65 solo) and five interceptions last season, and will likely sign on elsewhere.
