Could see some playing time early in the season if Von Miller is suspended for the first four games, but once he returns, Bradley becomes primarily a depth player at linebacker.
Had a great season in 2008 with the Eagles, but has been unable to duplicate those numbers because of injury. Finally healthy last season in Arizona he only mustered 41 tackles in 16 games. He took a pay cut this offseason to remain with the team, but will have limited fantasy value as a backup inside linebacker.
The emergence of Jamar Chaney last year complicates Bradley’s role in the Philadelphia defense, but the thumper is likely to remain a starter one way or another. If Chaney takes over at middle linebacker, Bradley’s previous spot, then Bradley would presumably shift to the strong side outside linebacker spot. A concussion derailed much of Bradley’s 2010 season, and an ACL tear prevented him from playing a single game in 2009, but Bradley was an effective starter in 2008. He finished that year with 108 tackles (86 solo). Health permitting, Bradley has a chance to return to that sort of productivity in 2011.
Coming off a lost 2009 season after tearing his ACL, Stewart enters 2010 back to health and as the team's starting middle linebacker.
A largely unheralded second-year MLB who posted ten tackles as a rookie, Bradley won the Eagles’ starting MLB job in training camp last year and improved on that tackle number by a factor of 10 108 tackles, a sack and an interception last season. Sadly, we can’t predict another 108-tackle increase in 2009 – but as Philly’s starting MLB, 100-plus tackles and a couple sacks and INTs should be a given.
Will start a middle linebacker. An IDP sleeper.
Drafted in the third round out of Nebraska, Bradley joins a pretty thin linebacking corps. He could earn snaps immediately working on the strong side.
