Henderson's release will create over $2.5 million in cap space for the Jets. After posting 45 tackles and forcing two fumbles in his 2015 return to the league, Henderson managed 21 stops in five games before being placed on the non-football injury list this past season. With Henderson out of the picture, 2016 first-round pick Darron Lee is now cemented as a starter at inside linebacker for New York.
