Santi is a backup tight end and special teamer. He caught eight passes last year and will again be primarily a blocker behind Dallas Clark.

Santi missed the end of the season with an injury, but if Healthy he can be a big impact in the Colts offense. He caught 10 passes for 64 yards in the Colts win against Minnesota Week 2 of 2008. He also caught the touchdown pass against the Texans that sparked the Colts season-saving rally. Although he is backing up Dallas Clark, and Gijon Robinson will likely start at half-back, we will see if Santi can continue to help the Colts as a tight end threat in 2009.

Santi will be used as a blocking tight end if he is able to make the Colts' 53-man roster, meaning he has minimal potential fantasy value.
