The 29-year-old veteran has been an above-average IDP producer out of the defensive tackle position throughout the last three seasons, having logged between 39 and 53 tackles and totaling 10.5 sacks over that stretch while with the Redskins. Baker was inked to a three-year contract by the Bucs on March 9 and joins an impressive tackle rotation alongside multi-time Pro Bowler Gerald McCoy and stalwart veteran Clinton McDonald. While he's slated for a reduction in the 783 snaps he saw in Washington last season, Baker should benefit from the attention that offensive lines will be forced to pay to the dynamic personnel around him.
Baker had a career year in 2015, recording six sacks, 53 tackles and three forced fumbles. After such production, he enters 2016 as an unquestioned starter on the defensive line. Baker is surrounded by strong pass rushers Ryan Kerrigan, Junior Galette and Preston Smith, which should provide plenty of single-team matchups for him as he looks to further improve his numbers this term.
Backup defensive lineman. Saw extended playing time in 2013 due to injuries and recorded a career high 40 tackles. He has two career sacks over 44 games.

Baker was brought in to increase the defensive line depth and will compete with plenty of other linemen for playing time.
