Grimm was arrested Sunday morning and charged with public intoxication, the Washington Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Grimm was not a factor in the Buccaneers secondary last season, only recording five tackles in nine games. This is not his first off the field issue this offseason, having also being arrested for the same offense March 10. Head coach Greg Schiano was reportedly disappointed, saying, "When we feel we have obtained all the necessary information, we will act accordingly.”

Would serve as DB depth if he is on the team in 2013.
Make sure he holds off Ronde Barber for the starting free safety spot first, but if Grimm does that, he should emerge as an IDP factor in 2012. He missed 13 games last year due to a season-ending knee injury, but he was promising the previous season, posting 55 tackles and two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown, in nine starts as an undrafted rookie. That rate would project to roughly 98 tackles and 3.5 interceptions over 16 games, so Grimm is one of the better bargain targets this year if he can regain his starting spot.
Grimm had a solid rookie campaign in 2010 with 57 tackles and two interceptions in 11 games played, nine of which he started. He did suffer a severe ankle injury but if he fully recovers he may once again start at safety for the Bucs in 2011 and could even be sleeper candidate in IDP leagues.
Was a linebacker in college but will switch to safety in the NFL. May be able to make team as No.4 safety.
