ANALYSIS
Wilson signed with Cincinnati in late July to fill one of the team's final roster spots, but won't stick around into the regular season. The veteran made four tackles across three preseason appearances, but posted 44 stops and an interception in 13 games (six starts) for the Chargers last season. As a result, he could garner some interest on the open market from teams looking for depth at safety.

After four seasons in Miami, Wilson returns to his home-town of San Diego and is expected to challenge Jahleel Addae for playing time at strong safety.
In the last year of his rookie contract this season, the 2011 first-rounder remains in the Dolphins' safety rotation after notching 39 tackles and two picks in 2013.
Wilson is in year two of his conversion from cornerback to safety and if he can show some ability to make big plays, could eventually take over the starting role from Chris Clemons.
Wilson is being used as sort of a super utility play in OTAs, playing cornerback and saftey. The Dolphins like his athleticism and want to get him on the field as much as possible.
Wilson can play cornerback or safety but with Miami S may be his surest bet to playing time. Early in camp he has been turning heads with his play but would need to beat out several players ahead of him on the depth chart in order to be on the game day roster.
