GAMEDAY INACTIVES FOR WEEK 9

Name Status Note Recent Update
Victor Abiamiri, DE (PHI) doubtful Knee 11/6/2009:The Eagles will again roll with Juqua Parker at defensive end.
John Abraham, DE (ATL) questionable Foot 11/6/2009:Abraham's production has been spotty of late, and this foot injury doesn't make us any more comfortable about recommending him. The Falcons do play in the first wave of kickoffs, so if you do plan to use him, at least you'll know Sunday morning whether he'll be available.
Xavier Adibi, LB (HOU) probable Ankle
Branden Albert, G (KC) probable Ankle
Jonathan Babineaux, DT (ATL) questionable Ankle
Jordan Babineaux , S (SEA) probable Hip
Sam Baker, OT (ATL) questionable Ankle
Dominique Barber, S (HOU) Out Ankle
Marion Barber, RB (DAL) probable Thumb 11/6/2009:Barber has been hovering around 15 carries per game and hasn't topped 53 rushing yards since Week 2, but the thumb injury no longer seems to be a concern.
Kevin Bentley, LB (HOU) probable Shoulder
H. B. Blades, LB (WAS) questionable Knee
Anquan Boldin, WR (ARZ) questionable Hamstring 11/6/2009:So much for the speculation that the Cardinals would hold Boldin out of Sunday's game in an effort to get him back to full strength. We're still cautious about recommending Boldin too highly this week since he has been unable to finish Arizona's last two games due to the injury. Plus, the Bears are allowing fewer than 200 passing yards per game this season.
Michael Boley, LB (NYG) questionable Knee 11/6/2009:Boley may not be at full speed even if he does play, so you'll probably want to look elsewhere for IDP help this week.
Kevin Boss, TE (NYG) probable Ankle 11/6/2009:Boss won't be hindered by his ankle injury on Sunday, but his 70-yard effort last week was the first time he surpassed 50 yards since Week 1. He hasn't been consistent enough to be more than a replacement option.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB (NYG) probable Ankle 11/6/2009:Bradshaw has been fairly quiet the last two weeks, but he's continually getting 10-14 carries per game, which gives him a leg up on many of the other RB2/RB3 options out there. The foot injury seems to be okay for now despite being just one misstep away from ending Bradshaw's season.
Tom Brady, QB (NE) probable Shoulder 11/6/2009:Fresh off a bye week and with his arm reportedly feeling great -- despite the standard "probable" designation -- Brady slots in as the No. 1 QB on the Week 9 RotoWire Value Meter.
Steve Breaston, WR (ARZ) probable Knee 11/6/2009:He is expected to play against a solid Chicago pass defense. In a bit of a surprise, so is his teammate Anquan Boldin (ankle). Breaston is having a good season as Arizona's No. 3 receiver -- he's on pace for 1,000 receiving yards for a second straight season -- but he would be a better option if Boldin were sidelined.
Lance Briggs, LB (CHI) probable Shoulder 11/6/2009:Briggs hasn't had any monster games this season, but he's one of the more reliable tacklers available and won't be bothered by this shoulder injury.
Donald Brown, RB (IND) questionable Shoulder 11/6/2009:Brown had participated in practice on Wednesday and Thursday and wasn't even listed on the injury report those days, so this is a surprise. He may have suffered a setback, but in any case check his status before kickoff.
Antonio Bryant, WR (TB) questionable Knee 11/6/2009:Bryant, who did not practice Thursday or Friday, thinks that the nine-hour flight home from London (where the Bucs played in Week 7) caused the swelling in his knee that he suffered last week. Bryant feels like he has a chance to play Sunday, but probably won't know either way until he's evaluated before kickoff. Even if he can go, he'd be a risky proposition, with rookie QB Josh Freeman slated to make his first NFL start this weekend.
Tim Bulman, DT (HOU) probable Ribs
Brodrick Bunkley, DT (PHI) questionable Knee
Prescott Burgess, LB (BAL) probable Illness
Kevin Burnett, LB (SD) probable Ankle 11/6/2009:Burnett missed practice Wednesday and Friday, so despite the "probable" tag, check his status Sunday if he is an IDP you'd normally consider.
Chris Canty, DE (NYG) questionable Calf 11/6/2009:Canty expects to be ready, but you probably shouldn't consider him as an IDP until he proves he's fully healthy.
James Casey, TE (HOU) Out Knee 11/2/2009:That's one player you can cross off the short-term pickup list in the wake of Owen Daniels' season-ending injury. Joel Dreesen will replace Daniels in the starting lineup for now, but Casey could factor in as a pass-catcher later on in the season once his knee is sound.
Brandon Chillar, LB (GB) Out Hand 11/2/2009:Chillar was Green Bay's best coverage linebacker and will be replaced by Desmond Bishop.
Kendrick Clancy, DT (NO) Out Knee
Michael Clayton, WR (TB) probable Wrist 11/6/2009:Clayton was able to practice this week, so it looks like he'll be out there Sunday and he'll be needed if Antonio Bryant (game-time decision) is unable to go. Still, with a rookie QB (Josh Freeman) making his first start this weekend, Clayton (who is averaging 22 receiving yards a game) would not be a high-percentage fantasy play.
Nate Clements, CB (SF) Out Shoulder 11/2/2009:Clements may play in a game or two at the end of the year, but if you are using him as an IDP you should free up the roster spot and look for help elsewhere. He appeared to have lost his starting spot to Tarell Brown anyway.
Chris Clemons, LB (PHI) probable Shoulder
Chad Clifton, OT (GB) probable Ankle 11/1/2009:T.J. Lang has been named the starter, but Clifton should be available if Lang struggles. As soon as he's closer to 100 percent healthy, Clifton should move back into the lineup.
Shaun Cody, DT (HOU) questionable Back 11/5/2009:Cody is expected to get an injection for the back, which has caused him to miss Wednesday's workout as well.
Chris Cooley, TE (WAS) Out Ankle 11/4/2009:"I'm hopeful that I can come back and play," Cooley said. "I still had an inch break in my ankle and it has three screws in it right now, so I'm not really getting around so well. So we'll see what happens." The inference here is perhaps the four-week timetable that was announced after his surgery was a bit optimistic. In any case, he's out for a while and Fred Davis will see an expanded role in his absence.
Channing Crowder, LB (MIA) doubtful Shoulder 11/6/2009:As a result, look for Reggie Torbor to get another start in Crowder's place Sunday.
Kevin Curtis, WR (PHI) Out Knee 11/4/2009:Curtis had surgery less than two weeks ago, so we wouldn't be surprised to see him miss several games. Donovan McNabb hasn't missed Curtis much thanks to the play of DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and the Eagles' other weapons.
Brian Cushing, LB (HOU) probable Foot 11/6/2009:Feel free to roll with Cushing this week, then whether you keep him or not in Week 10 (with the Texans on bye) depends on how much roster flexibility your league allows.
Jake Delhomme, QB (CAR) probable Chest 11/6/2009:The league's interceptions leader meets the league's best pass thieves. Things could get ugly for Delhomme on Sunday.
Jordon Dizon, LB (DET) probable Foot
Tim Dobbins, LB (SD) doubtful Knee 11/4/2009:The Chargers added James Holt from the practice squad to help fill the LB void created by Dobbins' absence.
Darnell Dockett, DT (ARZ) probable Ankle 11/6/2009:He should be fine to deploy if he's someone you're counting on.
Joel Dreessen, TE (HOU) probable Ankle 11/2/2009:At this point, we're only waiting to hear whether or not Daniels will miss the rest of the season. He will undergo an MRI on Monday. Dreessen, who gets a lot of work in two-tight-end sets, will get a few more balls thrown his way, but has not been a big target in the past. We expect rookie James Casey to be more of the receiving threat from the position than Dreessen.
Donald Driver, WR (GB) probable Neck 11/6/2009:Driver's absence from practice was starting to become concerning, but he appeared to be fine in Friday's workout. He's topped 50 receiving yards in every game since Week 1 and faces the woeful Buccaneers on Sunday (16 passing touchdowns allowed in seven games).
Julian Edelman, WR (NE) Out Forearm 11/6/2009:In his absence, fellow wideouts Brandon Tate and Sam Aiken will continue to work behind starters Randy Moss and Wes Welker.
Sedrick Ellis, DT (NO) Out Knee 10/31/2009:Ellis' absence will likely mean more work this week for Anthony Hargrove and Kendrick Clancy.
Demetric Evans, DE (SF) Out Shoulder
Jerome Felton, FB (DET) questionable Ankle
Jason Ferguson, DL (MIA) doubtful Elbow 11/6/2009:Assuming Ferguson is out Sunday, Paul Soliai would be in line to make the first career start.
Nick Ferguson, DB (HOU) probable Knee
Tony Fiammetta, FB (CAR) questionable Concussion 11/6/2009:The Panthers are going to be in a bind at fullback because Brad Hoover (ankle) has been ruled out and Fiammetta was unable to practice all week.
Jermichael Finley, TE (GB) Out Knee 11/6/2009:The Packers waited until Sunday to scratch Finley last week, but they'll cut the suspense in Week 9 and declare him out now. Donald Lee and Spencer Havner will be the Packers' tight ends on Sunday.
Brian Finneran, WR (ATL) questionable Ankle
Aubrayo Franklin, DT (SF) probable Not Injury Related
Scott Fujita, LB (NO) questionable Calf 11/6/2009:Fujita still hasn't returned to practice, so the chances of seeing him this week are slim. Troy Evans is ready to start in his place.
Vincent Fuller, S (TEN) questionable Groin 11/6/2009:Fuller, who was listed as limited at practice both Thursday and Friday, is expected to play Sunday, however, the Tennessean reports.
Pierre Garcon, WR (IND) questionable Ankle 11/6/2009:He didn't report an injury after last week's game and was able to fully practice on Wednesday and Thursday, so we can only guess this is minor. However, watch his status before kickoff.
Antonio Gates, TE (SD) probable Foot 11/6/2009:Gates practiced fully both Thursday and Friday, so it looks safe to roll with him this week.
Chris Gocong, LB (PHI) doubtful Quadricep 11/6/2009:Philadelphia is preparing rookie seventh-round pick Moise Fokou to start at strongside linebacker in Gocong's place.
Charles Godfrey, S (CAR) questionable Ankle 11/6/2009:Godfrey is unlikely to play after sitting out practice all week. The Panthers will roll with Sherrod Martin at free safety.
Mike Goff, G (KC) questionable Shoulder
Anthony Gonzalez, WR (IND) Out Knee 11/6/2009:Evidently Gonzalez aggravated his knee injury in practice a couple of weeks ago and now it looks like he'll be out another two-to-three weeks. In the meantime, Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon will continue to see an expanded role for the Colts in his absence.
Jonathan Goodwin, C (NO) probable Knee
Jarvis Green, DE (NE) Out Knee 11/7/2009:It sounds like Green plans to be ready for the Patriots' stretch run, but in the meantime, Mike Wright should continue to see added work on the team's defensive front line.
Korey Hall, FB (GB) questionable Calf 11/6/2009:The Packers have been using John Kuhn and Quinn Johnson at fullback in Hall's absence. Kuhn will likely start on Sunday even if Hall is able to play.
Nick Hardwick, C (SD) Out Ankle 11/6/2009:We'll revisit his status leading up to Week 10's game against the Eagles.
Nick Harper, CB (TEN) questionable Forearm 11/6/2009:Though Harper was listed as limited at practice all week, he's not expected to play Sunday, the Tennessean reports.
Tommie Harris, DT (CHI) probable Knee 11/6/2009:The fact that Harris participated in all practices for two straight weeks (he generally rests on Wednesdays), is as good a sign as any that his knee is feeling just fine.
Garrett Hartley, K (NO) doubtful Ankle 11/6/2009:John Carney was expected to kick for the Saints anyway, so this shouldn't alter anyone's fantasy plans.
Matt Hasselbeck, QB (SEA) probable Rib 11/6/2009:Hasselbeck could have a field day against a Lions defense that has been shredded by opposing quarterbacks week after week. He's been good at beating up on weaker secondaries this season and should continue the trend on Sunday.
Kelvin Hayden, CB (IND) Out Knee 11/6/2009:Jacob Lacey, who has performed well as an undrafted free agent, will step into the starting lineup with Hayden out. The Colts will likely take their time to make sure Hayden is ready for the playoffs, so keep any expectations for him the rest of the season to a minimum.
Gerald Hayes, LB (ARZ) questionable Back 11/6/2009:He was a limited participant in Thursday's and Friday's practices and he should be in the starting lineup on Sunday.
Todd Heap, TE (BAL) probable Ankle 11/6/2009:Heap, who is averaging 39.7 receiving yards per game thus far, slots in as a decent bye week plug-in type at tight end this season. He hasn't scored since Week 2, but did record his season-high in catches (seven) in Week 5 against Cincinnati.
Todd Herremans, OT (PHI) probable Foot
Devin Hester, WR (CHI) questionable Ankle 11/6/2009:"I went 100 percent today," Hester said. "I'm ready to go." The Bears may pull Hester off his punt return duties Sunday, but he's expected to play a full complement of snaps on offense.
Sammie Hill, DT (DET) probable Ankle
Brad Hoover, FB (CAR) Out Ankle 11/6/2009:The Panthers are going to be in a bind at fullback with Hoover out and Tony Fiammetta questionable. Fiammetta is unlikely to play after missing practice all week.
Chris Horton, S (WAS) questionable Knee 11/6/2009:Reed Doughty will assume additional playing time if Horton is unable to play.
Darren Howard, DE (PHI) probable Ankle 11/1/2009:Howard hasn’t been a fantasy factor since Week 1, but he’s available this week if you need him.
Israel Idonije, DT (CHI) probable Knee
Kenny Iwebema, DE (ARZ) questionable Knee 11/6/2009:He was a limited participant in all of this week's practices. Health-wise, he should be available for a backup role, but he might not crack Arizona's gameday rotation since they need to designate eight inactive players from their 53-man roster.
DeSean Jackson, WR (PHI) probable Foot 11/6/2009:Jackson's foot injury isn't even a minor concern at this point. You should have no qualms about starting him given his recent production and great matchup against the Cowboys.
Grady Jackson, DT (DET) probable Knee
Max Jean-Gilles, OG (PHI) probable Shoulder
Malcolm Jenkins, CB (NO) probable Ankle
Calvin Johnson, WR (DET) questionable Knee 11/6/2009:Coach Jim Schwartz said Friday he's "optimistic" about Johnson's chances, but Schwartz expressed similar optimism last week, only to list Johnson among the inactives on game day. Detroit's late afternoon kickoff poses a problem as far as lineup decisions are concerned, but unless you have a clear-cut better option, we'd probably gamble with Johnson this week.
Jaret Johnson, K () probable Shoulder
Jarret Johnson, LB (BAL) probable Shoulder 11/1/2009:Johnson is a safe play this week, and he is usually a pretty safe bet to fill up the stat sheet.
Jeremi Johnson, FB (CIN) probable Knee 11/6/2009:Good news for the Bengals, but with two carries for six yards and three catches for 25 yards thus far, Johnson is not on the fantasy radar. He is capable of the occasional random TD, but that's not enough to roster him.
Landon Johnson, LB (CAR) questionable Shoulder 11/6/2009:Now that Thomas Davis is healthy, Johnson's impact will be limited if he is able to play.
Terry Johnson, DT (CIN) probable Foot
Thomas Johnson, DT (ATL) questionable Calf
Travis Johnson, DT (SD) probable Groin
John Kasay, K (CAR) questionable Groin 11/6/2009:Kasay has been a weak fantasy performer this season, and if you haven't cut him loose already, now is the time to do so. He's simply too dangerous to start because the Panthers' late afternoon kickoff won't allow for a lineup swap. Rhys Lloyd would probably kick if Kasey cannot.
Jevon Kearse, DE (TEN) questionable Knee 11/1/2009:Kearse may be a name brand, but he hasn't been a relevant IDP for some time now.
Matt Light, OT (NE) Out Knee 11/6/2009:His spot will once again be taken by rookie Sebastian Vollmer, who has not looked out of place in relief of Light thus far.
Sean Locklear, OG (SEA) probable Ankle
Curtis Lofton, LB (ATL) questionable Knee 11/6/2009:We'll have word on Lofton's status Sunday morning once the inactive list is released. His participation in practice is a good sign, and assuming he does play, he'll continue to be an elite IDP option.
Ken Lucas, CB (SEA) probable Neck 11/6/2009:Lucas banged up his shoulder during last week's game, but he'll be ready to go on Sunday.
Elbert Mack, CB (TB) questionable Ankle
Jeremy Maclin, WR (PHI) probable Foot 11/6/2009:Maclin has a lot of competition for targets in Philadelphia (DeSean Jackson, Brent Celek, Brian Westbrook), but the upside is that defenses can't afford to focus much attention on stopping Maclin. He's averaged 62 yards receiving over the past four games to go along with three touchdowns.
Danieal Manning, S (CHI) questionable Back 11/6/2009:Despite the questionable tag, Manning had a good practice Friday and is expected to start according to head coach Lovie Smith. He's been a reliable source of tackles and can safely be deployed as an IDP.
Mario Manningham, WR (NYG) probable Shoulder 11/6/2009:This is good news for Manningham owners, since a questionable designation would have made for some tricky lineup decisions. Now that he's expected to play, he can safely be used as a WR3 or flex in most formats.
Derrick Martin, CB (GB) questionable Concussion
Rashean Mathis, CB (JAC) probable Finger 11/4/2009:Mathis has said he'll be able to play against the Chiefs Sunday, so given his full participation Wednesday, it looks safe to use him if your league is deep enough to consider him as an IDP.
Le'Ron McClain, FB (BAL) probable Shoulder 11/6/2009:With Ray Rice and Willis McGahee both remaining healthy, McClain's impact has been limited thus far, but he'd be worth scooping up if something happened to either one of the aforementioned duo.
Jon McGraw, S (KC) doubtful Thigh 11/6/2009:McGraw's absence deals a significant blow to a struggling Chiefs secondary that recently lost Jarrad Page to a season-ending calf injury. DaJuan Morgan is expected to make his first career start at free safety.
Shawne Merriman, LB (SD) probable Foot 11/3/2009:This was Merriman's best game of the year as he also had seven tackles including two for losses. "He's starting to look like Shawne Merriman and is continuing to grow," said head coach Norv Turner. "I don't think people appreciate the process that he's gone through to get back. He has worked to get better every week, and you can see it in his play."
Fili Moala, DT (IND) questionable Concussion 11/6/2009:This may be why the Colts signed defensive end Josh Thomas on Friday despite losing three members of the secondary to injury this weekend.
Lance Moore, WR (NO) Out Ankle 11/6/2009:Moore has dropped off the fantasy map this season, so his presence won't be missed by many owners. Courtney Roby is expected to assume the fourth receiver role.
Sean Morey, WR (ARZ) questionable Illness
Sammy Morris, RB (NE) Out Knee 11/6/2009:Fred Taylor is still out as well, so it will be another week with Laurence Maroney featured, with Kevin Faulk in his usual change-of-pace role and BenJarvus Green-Ellis also in the mix to a lesser degree. More on Morris leading up to Week 10's game against the Colts.
Randy Moss, WR (NE) probable Shoulder 11/6/2009:It's a matchup the Patriots will likely try to exploit and as is the case with most defenses, the Dolphins will be a faced with a "pick your poison" dilemma in how they try to contain Moss and fellow starting wideout (and former Dolphin) Wes Welker.
Sinorice Moss, WR (NYG) probable Foot
Muhsin Muhammad, WR (CAR) questionable Knee 11/6/2009:The questionable tag is a bid misleading; Muhammad said Thursday that he's not yet ready to play. Dwayne Jarrett will likely replace him in the starting lineup.
Jordy Nelson, WR (GB) Out Knee 11/6/2009:Nelson missed practice all week and was never expected to play. James Jones will be the No. 3 receiver Sunday, and we'll revisit Nelson's status next week.
Haloti Ngata, DT (BAL) questionable Ankle 11/6/2009:With 19 tackles and half a sack in seven games, Ngata isn't much of an IDP, but he is a key cog in the Ravens' run D, so if he is out or limited this week, Cedric Benson would be catching a break.
Jerious Norwood, RB (ATL) questionable Hip 11/6/2009:Norwood did not practice for the second consecutive week, and we'd be surprised to see him in uniform against the Redskins. Jason Snelling has a decent chance to return this week, so there isn't a pressing need for Norwood anyway.
Ben Obomanu, WR (SEA) questionable Oblique 11/6/2009:Obomanu is primarily a special teams player for Seattle.
Adewale Ogunleye , DE (CHI) probable Ankle 11/6/2009:Ogunleye hasn't made much of an impact this season, but he'll be available if you need him.
Greg Olsen, TE (CHI) probable Ankle 11/6/2009:Olsen was limited earlier in the week, but it looks like he'll be ready to go against the Cardinals.
Jason Peters, OT (PHI) probable Ankle
Neil Rackers, K (ARZ) probable Hamstring 11/6/2009:He was a full participant in Thursday's and Friday's practices and he should be fine to play on Sunday. Rackers and the Cardinals seem to be lucking out, since good weather is expected.
Jay Ratliff, DE (DAL) probable Knee 11/6/2009:He's not a very high-percentage fantasy play, but the potential for a sack or two makes him a deep sleeper option.
Javon Ringer, RB (TEN) Out Back 11/6/2009:With both LenDale White and Chris Johnson healthy, Ringer is strictly a depth guy at this point.
DelJuan Robinson, DT (HOU) questionable Knee
Aaron Rodgers, QB (GB) probable Feet 11/6/2009:Rodgers has been a fantasy dream this season, averaging 284 yards and two passing touchdowns per game. Even if his mobility is a tad limited by the foot injuries on Sunday, he'll still be an elite starter in nearly all formats.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB (ARZ) probable Finger 11/6/2009:He was a full participant in all of this week's practices and he has a good matchup against the Bears, who have thrown 11 interceptions in seven games this season. That figure is tied for the third-most in the NFL.
Antrel Rolle, S (ARZ) probable Foot 11/6/2009:He should be fine to start at free safety. This is a good matchup for Rolle; the Bears have thrown 11 interceptions this season, tied for the third-most in the NFL.
Dante Rosario, TE (CAR) questionable Knee 11/6/2009:Rarely does a player miss practice all week and suit up on Sunday. Jeff King and Gary Barnidge will likely hold down the fort at tight end for Carolina.
Aaron Ross, CB (NYG) Out Hamstring 11/4/2009:Ross is looking at a Week 11 return at the earliest.
Allen Rossum, DB (DAL) Out Hamstring
Mike Scifres, P (SD) probable Groin
Bernard Scott, RB (CIN) probable Knee 11/6/2009:Good news for the Bengals' RB depth, but right now Scott is not much more than Cedric Benson insurance.
Gerald Sensabaugh, S (DAL) probable Thumb
Jamie Silva, S (IND) questionable Hip 11/6/2009:It looks like he'll play after missing Thursday's practice with the injury.
Andre Smith, OT (CIN) questionable Foot
Hunter Smith, P (WAS) Out Groin
Justin Smith, DE (SF) probable Not Injury Related
Justin Smith, LB () probable Not Injury Related
Kevin Smith, RB (DET) questionable Shoulder 11/6/2009:The Lions have a late afternoon kickoff Sunday, so you likely won't have the luxury of making a lineup swap if Smith is a surprise inactive. However, the chances of that are slim. Smith should be ready to go, though Maurice Morris may cut into his carries a bit.
Reggie Smith, S (SF) probable Groin
Jason Snelling, RB (ATL) questionable Hamstring 11/6/2009:Jerious Norwood (hip) has missed practice all week and will probably sit out at least another game. If Snelling can play, he'll probably be the top backup to Michael Turner.
Stephen Spach, TE (ARZ) probable Ankle 11/6/2009:He hasn't appeared in a game since Oct. 11, although he was a full participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Spach should be healthy enough to play on Sunday, but he could still be listed as an inactive. The Cardinals are expected to activate only two of their four tight ends since they rely on the position less than most teams. Spach, Ben Patrick and Anthony Becht are probably fighting for the two active spots since Dominique Byrd is likely to be a healthy inactive.
Takeo Spikes, LB (SF) probable Shoulder 11/6/2009:Spikes has a couple of nice tackle games this year, but he's not a very reliable fantasy option.
Jason Spitz, OG (GB) Out Back
Matthew Stafford, QB (DET) probable Knee 11/6/2009:Stafford is far from a recommended option, but there are some reasons to think he'll improve on his shaky Week 8 performance. He shouldn't be as rusty as he was last week and he'll likely be reunited with Calvin Johnson, who did not play in the loss to St. Louis.
Joe Staley, OT (SF) Out Knee 11/2/2009:Staley has yet to miss a game in his NFL career, but he'll likely be out until sometime around Week 15. Barry Sims will replace him in the starting lineup.
Scott Starks, CB (JAC) Out Hamstring
Craig Steltz, S (CHI) probable Biceps
David Stewart, OT (TEN) questionable Hamstring 11/7/2009:Stewart is currently being listed as questionable after injuring his hamstring in Thursday's practice. Chris Johnson will need all his lineman healthy if he wants to reach 2000 yards this season and Vince Young could use all the protection possible.
Jonathan Stewart, RB (CAR) questionable Achilles 11/6/2009:Stewart is expected to be available despite the questionable tag he receives every week. He's still a secondary option behind DeAngelo Williams, but should get enough carries to be productive against a Saints run defense that seems to be struggling without Sedrick Ellis.
Aqib Talib, CB (TB) probable Ankle 11/6/2009:Talib has just 25 tackles in seven games to date, but with his interception in Week 7, he has already matched last year's total of four picks.
Fred Taylor, RB (NE) Out Ankle 11/6/2009:Taylor remains out indefinitely, but the fact that the Patriots have not placed him on IR is a sign that he has a legit chance to return at some point this season.
David Thornton, LB (TEN) questionable Hip 11/6/2009:He skipped practice Wednesday and Friday, so his status is worth checking Sunday if he is one of your IDPs.
Lawrence Timmons, LB (PIT) questionable Ankle 11/7/2009:The Pittsburgh Tribune Review reports that Timmons won't play Monday, despite being listed as doubtful. "I am not going to be able to play," Timmons said after missing Saturday's practice. Keyaron Fox will get the start.
Pisa Tinoisamoa, LB (CHI) Out Knee
Adam Vinatieri, K (IND) Out Knee
Frank Walker, CB (BAL) probable Illness
DeMarcus Ware, LB (DAL) probable Foot 11/6/2009:After a slow start, Ware rediscovered his pass-rushing prowess in mid-October and rattled off five sacks in three games. He is safe to deploy on Sunday.
Ty Warren, DT (NE) questionable Ankle 11/6/2009:It's believed that he'll be able to play this weekend, but check back with us Sunday if he is one of your IDPs.
Ben Watson, TE (NE) questionable Back 11/6/2009:Check back with us Sunday if Watson is someone you'd normally consider. The Dolphins will be starting two rookie corners this week, an area the Patriots are likely to target in the passing game this weekend.
Eric Weems, WR (ATL) questionable Ankle
Reggie Wells, OG (ARZ) probable Thumb
Brian Westbrook, RB (PHI) questionable Concussion 11/6/2009:This seems like it was just a rest day for Westbrook, and not an indication that he suffered any type of concussion-related setback. We trust that he'll play, and he should get an adequate number of touches despite the presence of LeSean McCoy.
Dewayne White, DE (DET) probable Elbow
Roddy White, WR (ATL) questionable Knee 11/6/2009:The Falcons have an early afternoon start, providing fantasy owners with enough time to cycle in a replacement if White is listed as inactive. We don't expect that to happen, however, so you don't need to be overly concerned about leaving White in your lineup this week.
Jonathan Wilhite, CB (NE) questionable Illness
Mario Williams, DE (HOU) probable Shoulder 11/1/2009:Williams looks to be a safe IDP play Sunday against the Bills, a team that has a shaky offensive line and has given up 21 sacks through seven games.
Maurice Williams, T (JAC) probable Knee
Roy Williams, S (CIN) questionable Forearm 11/6/2009:Check back with us Sunday if Williams -- who has 28 tackles in the four games he has played -- is one of your IDPs.
Brian Witherspoon, CB (JAC) probable Hamstring 11/6/2009:He's listed as probable for Week 9 and looks ready to help the Jags' return game out Sunday against the Chiefs.
Charles Woodson, CB (GB) probable Hip 11/6/2009:Woodson, who has a team-high four interceptions, will be licking his chops when he sees rookie Josh Freeman settle in under center on Sunday.
Jason Wright, RB (ARZ) probable Thumb 11/6/2009:Wright dislocated his thumb during last Sunday's loss to the Panthers, but isn't expected to miss any time.
Tom Zbikowski, S (BAL) questionable Illness
Jeremy Zuttah, G (TB) probable Shoulder
