To see significant touches this season, Bell will need a injury to Matt Forte and/or Michael Bush. A role on special teams seems the more likely scenario.

Bell will fight for a depth role at both running back and on special teams.

Bell burst onto the scene in Week 11 of the 2009 season by taking his first career NFL carry for 72 yards. Following that impressive initial carry, Bell saw a decent amount of action over the team's final seven games, finishing the season with 40 carries for 220 yards. Bell would have been primed to expand his role in the offense this year, but the offseason addition of Chester Taylor means that, at best, Bell will open the season as the team's No. 3 running back and will need an injury to either Forte or Taylor to gain fantasy relevance.

Bell struggled with injuries throughout his time at UCLA but has potential as a strong one-cut back. Bell will most likely contribute on special teams while playing sparingly as a running back. Bell will compete with Albert Young and Ian Johnson for playing time as the teams third string back.
