Will Hill: Past News Updates ( ▲ View most recent update )
Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)Hill has been effective when on the field over the last few seasons, but his long history of off-field issues allowed the Ravens to get away with giving him a low tender. Having not received any offer sheets as a restricted free agent, Hill will be back as the Ravens' starting free safety in 2015. He's an interesting target for deeper IDP leagues, but his role in Baltimore's defense isn't conducive to huge tackle totals.
Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)Stewart has been the better of Baltimore's two starting safeties, but Matt Elam still seems less likely to lose his job. Hill was fantastic for the Giants last year, and it won't be surprising if he gets significant playing time as soon as he's eligible. The safety position has been Baltimore's glaring weakness this season.
Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)Hill was suspended last week for the first six games of the 2014 regular season for a third violation of the league's substance abuse policy. In two professional seasons, he's accounted for 115 tackles (89 solo) and two interceptions in 24 games played. The talented but troubled safety will have to clean up his act in order to sign on with another team.
RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Will Hill.
Hill is suspended for the first six games of the season, and it's unclear what kind of role he might play once he's eligible to return. That may well depend on how healthy the Ravens are, not to mention what kind of performance they get from fellow safeties Matt Elam, Darian Stewart and Terrence Brooks.
Reserve safety, suspended for four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
Earned a roster spot in camp.
