RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Will Hill.
Hill started 2014 with a six-game suspension, but by the end of the season he'd emerged as arguably the most reliable defensive back on Baltimore's roster. However, the team signed S Kendrick Lewis in the offseason, and Hill is now expected to compete with former first-round draft pick/bust Matt Elam for the other starting safety spot. With Lewis likely to be used as a deep safety much of the time, Hill could emerge as a strong source of tackles, assuming he beats out Elam.
Hill is suspended for the first six games of the season, and it's unclear what kind of role he might play once he's eligible to return. That may well depend on how healthy the Ravens are, not to mention what kind of performance they get from fellow safeties Matt Elam, Darian Stewart and Terrence Brooks.
Reserve safety, suspended for four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
