Reed has "very little" chance of suiting up Sunday against the Jaguars, according to coach Jay Gruden, the Washington Post reports. "He didn't do anything today, still pretty sore, so we'll have to continue to monitor him and see what he can do tomorrow, the next day and keep moving forward," Gruden said.

Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)

However, Gruden proceeded to call Reed's injury of the "week to week" variety, which all but rules out the tight end for Week 2. While Reed's ultimate availability should be known by the release of Friday's injury report, Niles Paul and Logan Paulsen will handle TE duties in the meantime. If the regular season opener was any indication, Robert Griffin favored Paul (four catches for 86 yards in Week 1) over Paulsen (two receptions for no yards).
Reed (hamstring) didn't take part in practice Wednesday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)

Reed entered Week 1 with a sprained thumb and emerge with a hamstring injury, which coach Jay Gruden suggested could sideline the tight end for "some time." If the preceding comes to fruition, Niles Paul (four catches for 86 yards in Week 1) and Logan Paulsen (two receptions for no yards) would cover Reed's assignments in the meantime.

Reed was an effective pass-catching TE in college and has some sleeper potential as a rookie in Washington, as Fred Davis hasn't exactly exemplified durability.
