RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Samari Rolle.
The Ravens are looking to inject some youth into their secondary. As a result Rolle, who will be 33 in August, won't see the field except in nickel or dime situations, while Dominique Foxworth and Fabian Washington man the starting spots. Expect his IDP value to take a hit accordingly.
Rolle should be able to hold off his competitors and start at cornerback opposite of Chris McAlister. Still, he should not be drafted in IDP leagues, as he is no longer the interception threat he was in his prime.
Rolle returns for his third year with Baltimore starting opposite Chris McAlister.
A somewhat down season for Rolle last year, due to a concussion and legal issues.
When healthy, Rolle is one of the better corners in the game. He's had trouble staying healthy recently, however, and his domestic assault incident will likely see him suspended for the first game of the season.
Rolle is the leader of the Titans secondary with Pro Bowl level talent. In 2003, he snagged six interceptions, one short of the league high.
Rolle is the Titans' top cornerback, the guy who guards opposing team's best receivers. For the Titans to be successful, Rolle will need to stay healthy.
