Napoleon Harris

Harris played in Minnesota’s Cover 2 scheme last season, so his transition to Kansas City’s defense should be a smooth one. He had 2.5 sacks and three interceptions last year, but his number of big plays could decrease if he doesn’t see extensive action on passing downs. Derrick Johnson and Donnie Edwards possess excellent coverage skills, which could send Harris to the sideline in passing situations, limiting his fantasy impact. Still, he’ll have a chance to post solid tackle numbers playing in the middle of the Chiefs’ defense.

Harris was a bust after coming over in the Randy Moss trade as he wasn't able to win a starting job. He'll be in the mix to start at middle linebacker along with E.J. Henderson and Dontarrious Thomas.

Starting strong-side linebacker who may get to rush the passer more this season.

Harris was second on the team last season in tackles with 139 (105 solo). Despite the Raiders employing a 3-4 defense this season, he'll continue to be active and should continue to be a nice option late in your drafts for individual defensive player leagues.
