RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2015

There was no outlook written for Toniu Fonoti.

2009

Fonoti will provide depth along the offensive line.

2008

Fonoti enters training camp as the Panthers' starting right guard, but he could be pushed by Keydrick Vincent and Evan Mathis for his starting job this summer.

2007

Fonoti was signed this off-season to provide offensive line depth. He has started 33 games in his career, but only three since 2004. Fonoti used to be a dominant lineman with the Chargers, but the Falcons will use him only as insurance in case rookie Justin Blalock struggles.

2006

Reserve offensive lineman.

2005

Fonoti is the starting left guard in 2005. Despite a rather checkered history of unexcused preseason absences for the past two years, he was a dependable player in 2004 starting all 16 regular season games.

2004

Injuries caused Fonoti to miss the entire 2003 season. Still, he was projected to be a starting guard on an inexperienced offensive line, but early absences from voluntary workouts and minicamp sessions have put his starting position in jeopardy.
