RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Jordan Gross.

2013

Will start at left tackle.

2012

Returning from a broken ankle he sustained in November 2011, Gross will be the starting left tackle this season.

2011

Will start at left tackle.

2010

A 2008 Pro Bowler, Gross was a lock at Carolina's left tackle position until a leg injury cut his season short last year. He will be a key figure in Carolina's running game in 2010 and, provided he stays healthy, should help Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams but up big numbers.

2009

Gross earned an NFL Pro Bowl berth as the starting left tackle, a role that he figures maintain for the Panthers over the next several seasons.

2008

Gross will anchor the left side of the Carolina offensive line as the starting left tackle. He'll protect Jake Delhomme's blind side, at least until Jeff Otah is ready to make the move over from right tackle.

2007

Starting right tackle.

2006

Starting right tackle.

2004

Is expected to start at tackle for the panthers this season.

2003

Meet the personification of Carolina's attempts to improve its sad offensive line. The eighth pick overall in the 2003 draft will begin his career at right tackle and eventually move over to the tougher left tackle position, but likely not this year.
