RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for C.J. Mosley.
Ndamukong Suh wasn't the only Detroit free agent to sign with Miami, Mosley comes along also. Mosley is in a battle with Earl Mitchell to start in the coveted slot next to Suh. Whomever wins this job will have a great chance to make some plays as let's face it, they will never see more than one blocker with opposing offensive lines worried much more about Suh and Cameron Wake for that matter.
Mosley won't start for the Lions, but he'll be a part of their defensive line. Production, though, will be hard to come by in a part-time role.
Mosley will continue to fill a rotational role along the defensive line.
He will likely begin the season as a backup with Shaun Rogers moving to end and Ahtyba Rubin moving to nose tackle. If Rogers moves back inside, look for Coleman to get more playing time.
Mosely will likely be in a rotation on the Browns' defensive line, but don't expect big numbers out of him as he will likely see limited playing time.
Mosley will serve as one of New York's primary backups at defensive end.
