In his first game as a Bill, Ganther carried four times for two yards in Sunday's win over Detroit.

ANALYSIS
While that isn't noteworthy by any means, the reason we mention it is because C.J. Spiller might have to miss some time, and that makes the newly signed Ganther the No. 2 back behind Fred Jackson for now. He won a few games for people with his work for the Redskins last season, so it's worth having Ganther on the radar, as right now he's a Jackson injury away from getting major carries. That almost happened Sunday, though Jackson was able to shake it off and return to the game.

Ganther has a chance to land the last job in the Seahawks backfield. He looked good in mini camp, and his ability to play fullback is a plus. A DUI arrest in July could be a problem, though.

Ganther is the third string running back for the Titans. He did not see many carries in 2008, and with the drafting of Javon Ringer, may see even less in 2009.

Will be fighting for a roster spot.

Ganther is a backup running back who appears to be the odd man out in the starting battle between Chris Brown, LenDale White and Chris Henry. He was on the Titans practice squad for most of the 2006 season.
