Will vie for the starting middle linebacker job with Jonathan Goff, Chase Blackburn and rookie Phillip Dillard. Wilkinson has great range and speed, but has been injury prone and inconsistent. Would have IDP value should he win the job.
Reserve linebacker will battle for a roster spot.
Starting weak side linebacker will have to hold off Danny Clark and rookie Bryan Kehl for the job. Wilkinson has excellent speed and could be a good source of tackles if he keeps the job.
Wilkinson will compete with and likely lose out to Kawika Mitchell for the starting weak side linebacker job. If Wilkinson were to win the job, he'd be worth a look in deeper IDP leagues.
Wilkinson will vie with Brandon Short to back up Carlos Emmons at weak side linebacker.
