RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Freddy Keiaho.
Keiaho will contribute on special teams.
Keiaho will likely begin the season as a backup in 2009, although he was second on the team in tackles in 2008. The Colts are very deep at the linebacker position, but Keiaho could move into a starting role with an injury to a starting linebacker in 2009. The Colts opted to not resign Keiaho after the season, but after testing the market, he resigned shortly after the draft.
Keiaho will open the season as one of Indianapolis' starting outside linebackers. He has logged just a half sack and one interception in his two years and should not be drafted in IDP leagues, though it wouldn't be a complete surprise to see him show up on the radar at some point in 2008.
Keiaho should win the weak-side linebacker job, which is always an IDP monster in Tony Dungy defenses.
Undersize player with speed could push Gilbert Gardner for the starting strong-side linebacker job.
