RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Ed Johnson.

2010

Looks to get some playing time in rotation with the other Panthers DTs. Though only in his fourth season, Johnson is considered a veteran in Carolina's defensive line. However, his low production in past seasons doesn't make him a viable IDP option.

2009

Johnson is listed as fourth on the depth chart at right defensive tackle going into training camp. He is not expected to make the team, and did not play a game after week one in 2008.

2008

Johnson will start at defensive tackle as the Colts' run-stopper. He won't post more than one or two sacks and has no IDP value.

2007

Undrafted free agent from Penn State could win time on the defensive line this summer as the Colts are in need of big bodies who can help defend against the run.
