RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Brian Brohm.

2010

Brohm, picked up from the Packers' practice squad in November of 2009, will be given a chance to beat out Trent Edwards or Ryan Fitzpatrick for the starting job. It's not a great fantasy situation for whoever wins the job -- given the team's questionable offensive line and lack of talent past Lee Evans at receiver -- but there are only 32 starters in the league and Brohm probably will have a fair chance to be one of them. Give him about a 25 percent shot at this time.

2009

Brohm, a second-round pick last year, couldn't nail down the backup quarterback job last season and spent the year as a clipboard-holder behind Aaron Rodgers and Matt Flynn. He'll compete with Flynn again this year for the No. 2 spot.

2008

Brohm was drafted in the second round in 2008 and is in line to back up Aaron Rodgers, though the Packers would like to add a veteran QB as well. Brohm's play suffered in his senior season with a new head coach, but the Packers like his potential. He'll learn on the bench for at least this season and maybe more if Aaron Rodgers pans out as a starting QB.
